Camp YUMKA
A long time ago, a little girl was reading a bulletin board at the Audubon YMCA about summer camp. "Mom, I want to go to yumka camp" she said, trying to pronounce YMCA phonetically. A YMCA staff member overheard the girl and decided that it was a perfect camp name. And so Camp Audubon became Camp YUMKA.
At Camp YUMKA, you can make new friends, learn new skills and enjoy the outdoors under the direction of trained counselors! Campers have the opportunity to swim, go on field trips and participate in a wide variety of activities.
